Where the Story Begins
I remember myself as a child, when we were role playing and most of the time I was pretending to be a businesswoman, carrying my dad’s old briefcase.
That self-image shaped many of my decisions and choices during my adulthood and has led me to pursue a high-flyer career within the corporate world.
From corporate high-flyer to conscious leader
I was lucky to work for and with corporate giants from a young age, to sit on the boardroom tables with business executives, meet very talented professionals across the world, and advise hundreds of businesses and business leaders.
I was even luckier to do a job that I love.
I worked hard, sometimes ignoring my limits, spending more and more hours on my job to achieve my professional aspirations and targets.
During this time, I struggled to manage my health condition, in silence.
In my mid 20s, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia; a condition that causes widespread pain, sleep problems, fatigue, and often emotional and mental distress.
I wasn’t comfortable disclosing anything about it, worried it might affect my career progression; a career I had worked very hard to build, while also dealing with the challenges I faced as a woman in a traditional society and a less‑privileged one within the corporate world.
I kept going, quietly but painfully. Eventually, that mindset and way of living led me to a state where I was not feeling joy even for the things that I used to love; and I wasn’t feeling fulfilled, even if on the outside, my career looked successful.
I ended up living with overwhelming back-to-back fibro flare-ups and totally disconnected from my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
But there is always a turning point,
just around the corner...
From that time on, I started learning how to mix things up – working to align my corporate mindset with my spiritual mind and trying to retain my professional success while, at the same time, finding personal fulfilment, happiness and wellbeing.
The more successful I was in doing that, the more growth and potential I created for myself – a potential I had never imagined before.
How yoga and inner work changed how I lead and work
Yoga has been an integral part of my life and philosophy.
I started my journey back in 2011 in an effort to manage flare‑ups of fibromyalgia.
-
I met my teachers, Sylvi and Christos, and later David, who are still my loving teachers today and who have helped me grow in balance and harmony and eventually find happiness and fulfilment in life.
Since then, I’ve been in continuous, exciting exploration. I travelled on a solo vacation to Bali to immerse myself in a yoga retreat and enjoy the Balinese culture. I completed training on the science of yoga to learn more about the connection of body and mind and eventually transfer the knowledge and experience of my self‑development path to the people I work with.
The yoga teachings and philosophy have led me to conscious living at all levels – as a person, a leader, a partner, a friend and a mother. They have inspired me to transform my leadership and professional approach into a more compassionate and caring one – an approach that acts with mind and heart in alignment.
I have a mission...
My mission is simple:
to help organisations become places where people and businesses thrive together; where professional goals and personal needs are all fulfilled and where happiness, wellbeing and business success can all co-exist.
Why I do what I do
Today, I bring this blend of business experience and inner work into every engagement. I understand what it is like to operate in complex organisations with ambitious targets, constant change and high expectations – and I also know the cost when people try to carry all of that on their own.
My work focuses on helping leaders and teams in transition build the trust, alignment and connection they need to have real conversations, move through tension and change, and create cultures where people feel safe, connected and able to perform at their best.
Whether we are working through a team‑coaching journey, an offsite with your leadership team or a speaking engagement, I create spaces where people can pause, reflect and reset together – so business performance and human wellbeing support each other instead of competing.
